Damon's case is not the exception to the rule.  
It is now a well documented phenomenon that when children report abuse,
Family Court officials routinely take them away from
their protective parent (usually the mother) and coerce them
to live with their abusive parent (usually the father).

This is also known as Maternal Deprivation. 
It serves the purpose of silencing the children and their mothers, 
traumatizing them into compliance, 
and keeping the abuser in control of his victims.
The powerlessness the children experience when they are kept away from the safe parent and are forced into the full control of their abuser 
causes Stockholm Syndrome. 
This is a deliberate tactic to keep the abuser in power 
and the children compliant.

These cases are rigged to favor the abusers 
because they have the power---through connections, 
resources and age-old male entitlement.

THIS IS THE THIRD MILLENIUM 
and women still do not have the power to keep their children safe.
When abusive men want custody, family courts give it to them.

This cover up of abuse is much worse than the Penn State scandal,
as these professionals not only look the other way,
they actively silence women and children.

Abusers use Fathers Rights Groups to help get custody and control 
of their victims, most often by using pedophile Richard Gardner's 
Parental Alienation tactic to shift the blame to the protective mother.
Damon's mom was falsely accused of this.

Fathers Rights/Abuser groups are subsidized by YOUR tax dollars through 
Fatherhood Initiative programs to the tune of $500,000,000/year.

This money is funneled to dirty judges, lawyers, et. al., 
who steer the cases to abusive fathers.  
Call your Congresspersons and tell them 
you don't want your tax $$ supporting abusers.

This monetary motivation to side with abusers just strengthens the existing historical (i.e. patriarchal) propaganda that women and children 
lie about sexual assaults.  
However, the statistics clearly show that sexual abuse is very common, 
the abuser is most often the father or stepfather 
and it is rare for children or their mothers to lie about sexual abuse.
